About Me
Hi, welcome to my website! My name is Kayla Guillory and am an aspiring sports reporter. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Journalism with a concentration in Sports Media and minor is Sports Psychology.
Throughout my time in college I was a part of KTSW 89.9, a student-run radio station in San Marcos, Texas. I was a sports reporter covering Texas State men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball and San Marcos High School varsity girls' and boys' basketball team. I was also a co-host on Claws to the Wall, the sports department podcast, and made an appearance on the live radio show, Bobcat Radio. I also completed a summer internship with Dave Campbell's Texas Football in Lewisville, Texas, where I gained experience editing videos.
After graduating I began working at FanDuel Sports Network, formerly known as Ballay Sports Southwest, as a production assistant and still work there. I also gained in-game experiences as a game day assistant with the Texas Legends, g-league affiliate for the Dallas Mavericks.
I’ve worked with various editing tools such Tableau, interviewing skills, video editing, Adobe Premiere and InDesign in college, internships and post-grad work.
That is a little about me and my experiences, but you can learn more by contacting me!
